Dr. Atanu Duttaroy has two recent National Institutes of Health (NIH) grants: "Manganese superoxide dismutase in mechanisms of aging and neurodegeneration" (Project period: 9/1/2005-8/31/2010); and "ROS induced cellular toxicity and tissue damage assessment" (Project period: 3/1/06 to 2/29/09).Dr. Hemayet Ullah was awarded a grant from NSF's Division of Molecular and Cellular Biosciences (Signal Transduction and Cellular Regulation Program). The title of the project is: "Arabidopsis Receptor for Activated C Kinase1 (RACK1) Proteins: Role of Protein-protein Interaction in Environmental Stress Signaling Pathways." This research will investigate the Arabidopsis Scaffold protein RACK1A mediated cellular signal transduction mechanisms that regulate environmental stress responses. Project period: 2006-2008. |
