Travel Awards to National and International Conferences
Support funding travel to domestic and international conferences is available on a competitive basis through the (1) Graduate School, (2) Department of Biology, and/or (3) individual faculty members by respective grant mechanisms. Applicants are encouraged to discuss with prospective faculty members and the Graduate Director regarding options to support funding to scientific conferences. Current students are encouraged to speak to the Graduate School and their PI regarding funding to scientific conferences. It is anticipated that the student will present their science on the work generated as a graduate student in the program. This list below represents popular and/or common conferences attended by faculty and students; this is reflective of only a handful of the many conferences available to the students.
